Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! Hope everyone one had a fantastic one, i know we did! First we went to my parents and then mikes. SUCH yummy food from both places, you guys should be jealous! We also did our after Thanksgiving shopping! We hit up target, babies r us, FYE, home depot and Walmart. No worries, we didn't break the bank haha.

Little Lounger

Well today i had my NT scan and of course, our baby is stubborn! The nurse says that he's on the placenta (so he's using the placenta as a pillow, lazy baby!) and he kept trying to suck his thumb but his little arm isn't long enough to reach his mouth (see pic one)! it was so cute! we got to watch baby for about 40 minutes while they pushed and tried to get the baby into position. They said the baby looks healthy and they see nothing to be concerned about so that's good, just a little bummed that he wouldn't move though.
ps: i'm only writing he because the nurse kept saying he. it could still be a girl, never know! but we will find out for sure on december 22!! isn't it amazing how much has changed in two weeks? it actually looks like a baby with arms and legs and not a gummy with paw paws.

What the future will bring..

So while on thebump.com, i found this tool where you can morph together pictures to see what your future kid will look like. Apparently this is what the website has come up for us. Cute isn't he? haha. I call him Mr.Forehead. Mike and I sure had a good laugh over this one, but eh, only time will tell i suppose. haha i'm still laughing!

Got Doppler?

YES I DO! haha. i bought this fetal dopper when i was around 10 weeks and i love it! i did some research and wanted a doppler that i could use before 30 weeks. i know, go figure. So i went with the angelsounds fetal doppler. you don't have to use the gel they recommend. baby oil, lotion, etc work perfectly! my gummy bear seems to be snuggly in one spot so now i can find the heartbeat in less than a minute. i use it almost everyday just to ease my mind til i can feel some kicks! runs around 35 bucks and totally worth it!!!

Hi Gummy Bear

Here you go! The first pictures of our gummy bear. Come on, totally looks like a gummy bear yeah? So today was a BIG day. My first doctors appointment. I got to see baby wiggle (so awesome), watch the heart flutter, and hear the heartbeat! It was SO amazing. Baby is due on June 1, but that's when they thought I was at 10 weeks, HA! I'm actually 10 weeks and 5 days, and yes, the 5 days totally matter!!! Sickness is still there, but it's getting a bit easier and yes, every little cramp still freaks me out. Well only 29 weeks and 2 days left! YIKES!
